Azeite Primitivo – Art Direction

This tongue-in-cheek campaign for Brazilian olive oil brand, Azeite Primitivo, by Way Ag uses a clever idea to show how they choose nothing but the best olives for their olive oil.

The copy line: Nothing but the chosen ones, sets the scene as we see olives gathered around the olive oil bottle in ritualistic type settings. So funny!

Brutal Fruit – Art Direction

This new TV spot for Brutal Fruit by Joe Public United (directed by Justice Mukheli) is a real feast for the eyes. We love the lush organic look they’ve gone for and all the flowers and fruits they’ve brought in are just incredible. Such a great way to bring aroma to life through visuals!

Watch it below to see for yourself.

Academy graduate named as a finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards

We are incredibly excited to share with you all that Aidan Murgatroyd, Honours Graduate of 2021, is the only South African student finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards 2022 for his body of work title: Becoming South African

Becoming South African

As a third culture kid born and raised in various regions of the world and spending more time outside South Africa than in it, I’ve always desired to explore, understand and connect with what it means to be South African. As a child of mixed cultural background with one English and one Afrikaans parent, even in the midst of family gatherings, I felt a sense of otherness.

I returned to South Africa in 2017 and wanted to travel, connect and interact with the people, places and spaces that make up the South African experience. Finally in 2021, at the first chance available, I undertook a countrywide road trip over five months. The goal? To ascertain what it means to be South African, especially in a nation which encompasses so many cultures, languages and identities. Who are we?

Braw Liquor Club – Packaging

Braw Liquor Club is a new company that sells small batch cocktails directly to consumers. To get their brand up and running they turned to My Creative for design and we must say – what a great choice!

We love the minimal illustrations and considered design that take this brand beyond the product and make it really start to feel like an experience.

La Molisana, Pastificio Extra di Lusso – Packaging

This packaging design project by Dispenser Studio is such a great example of how design can be used to launch a new premium brand. La Molisana, a pasta manufacturer in Italy, wanted to launch a new premium brand and they turned to Dispenser to bring it to life.

From the detailed typography through to the illustration and the colour choices for the packaging – this is just great from top to bottom.

The Sea We Breathe – Multimedia

This website by Green Chameleon for the Blue Marine Foundation is the perfect example of how informative and engaging interactive online experience can be. As a user, you get to travel through the ocean and learn about conservation – such a smart way to deliver this information instead of simple facts on a page!
