Vallillo – Design

This work by Dispenser Studio for Italian brand Vallillo shows how strong design and bold illustration can update a brand and make it exciting and modern immediately. Rather than rely on old design tropes of what we expect Italian food products to look and feel like, this takes a step in a new direction we can all agree looks amazing.

A Trail Tale – Multimedia

To round out this week of Multimedia projects we’re sharing with you, we thought we’d end with A Trail Tale, by Andy Moliski. In this project, he’s charting his progress as he hikes the Appalachian Trail, using this website to show us all how it’s going.

From updates to the terrain, how he’s feeling and what he’s seeing – this has it all! What an incredible achievement showing how illustration and multimedia design can come together.

You can follow his journey here.

New York Times – AR Library

This is a bit of an inspiration post for us all! The New York Times’ R&D team have collected all of their AR work into a single space, which means we get to check out all the amazing work they’ve done without the legwork!

We especially enjoyed the nasal swab piece from February 2022 that showed just how swabs for COVID work. Such a clever way to help people understand things!

You can check out all of their work on their site here. Which is your favourite?

Yulia Reznikov – Photography

Yulia Reznikov is a photographer and creative director working in Cologne, Germany. Today, we’re sharing just a few images from a shoot she did for Vanity Teen Magazine called, SIEG ÜBER DIE SONNE, which translates as ‘Victory over the Sun’.

You can follow more of her work on Behance here.

Denis Freitas – Illustration

Denis Freitas is a Brazilian illustrator working out of São Paulo. Today, we’re sharing a selection of the illustrations he did for a story called Autopolis commissioned by French agency Marie Bastile. We love the way he’s been able to capture such a futuristic feeling city while still incorporating typography and a bit of a human touch all at once.

You can follow him on Behance here.
