Iz Ptica – Illustration

Iz Ptica is the creative name of Kaja Kajfež, an illustrator based in Croatia who has worked in graphic design and illustration since her late teens.

Today, we’re sharing her work for Honest History – a publication that aims to set right the stories we tell ourselves about our past. We love her warm style of illustration – whether she’s creating characters, objects or scenes. Lovely work!

You can see more of her work on her website here.

Seb NIARK1 FERAUT – Illustration

Sebastien Feraut aka NIARK1 is a French illustrator who is originally from Paris but now works in Montpellier. He describes his likes as colours, monsters and surrealistic things – which you can see in his illustration work!

We’ve included some selected pieces he’s created over the past year or two.

You can see more of his inspiring work on his website here.

Enter Bar – Design and Illustration

Enter Bar is a gaming-inspired bar and eatery in Budapest that offers a relaxed atmosphere where people can play board games or console games, or just hang out with friends and take it easy.

The design was handled by Halisten Studio, who drew on the rich design history of gaming for inspiration. From the space itself to the design of the menus and other collateral – everything was thought of.

What a lovely project!

Ruinart – The Unconventional Gallery

Ruinart, a French winemaker, has created a virtual gallery space housing the work of British artist David Shrigley, showcasing work of his inspired by the wine. If you’re not aware of Shrigley’s work – his simple, absurdist drawings and paintings toe the line between profundity and mundanity. We love it! And of course, in true Shrigley fashion, there’s an animated pink earthworm that follows you around the gallery space.

You can pay a visit to the gallery here.
