Missing – Interactive True Crime Story

This use of the web to tell a story is something that makes us very excited. It tells the terribly sad true crime story of the disappearance Wendy Jane Pfeiffer, a young Australian girl.

As you navigate through the story, you uncover what really happened to her. This brings the story to life in a way you could never imagine, no longer just static words on a page or a salacious story in a magazine – this is a truly interactive way to immerse yourself in the story.

If you’ve got ten minutes to spare, we strongly suggest you check this out – it’s incredible!

Oat the Goat – Interactive Story

Wow! We love this work by Assembly and FCB New Zealand for the New Zealand Ministry of Education. It tells the story of Oat the Goat and his travels, teaching young children to understand how their actions can affect the people around them.

With a beautiful animation style, immersive sound design and a great story – this is truly digital work of the highest order. We do suggest you spend some time checking out the site and seeing just how far digital work can be taken.

You can read Oat the Goat’s story here (in English or in Maori!).

Another Pirate Story

We love it when people push the boundaries of multimedia and web design like this. This project, Another Pirate Story, by Alessandro Larini is a beautifully illustrated interactive story for kids (and adults!) that takes place on a really gorgeous website.
