What a fun campaign for a fun brand! We love the smart copywriting here, which allows the Big Wood Beard brand tone to come to life. Let’s be honest – beard grooming products don’t need to be incredibly serious or too stuffy and too premium.
Hence Esparza Advertising’s engaging take we see here. Strong, powerful shots of rugged looking men (with pretty fantastic beards) along with expressive typography that brings the personality of the copy to life. This is such a great example of how art direction, design and copywriting come together to produce an execution that is more than the sum of its parts. Often it is so difficult to explain to people who do not understand the industry just how all the disparate disciplines can work together and complement each other – this is a perfect example.
